1/8 npt water temp gauge

Our water temp gauge sensor has different size , such as M14, M16 or 1/8npt. You can choose which you need. The water level sensor in the vehicle and vessel container transmits the sensed water level signal to the controller. The computer in the controller compares the measured water level signal with the set signal to obtain the deviation. Then, according to the nature of the deviation, it sends "open" and "close" instructions to the electric water supply valve to ensure that the container reaches the set water level. After the water inlet procedure is completed, the computer in the temperature control part sends the "open" command to the electric valve supplying the heat medium, and the system starts to heat the water in the container. When the set temperature is reached. The controller sends the command to close the valve, cut off the heat source, and the system enters the thermal insulation state. In the process of programming, it is ensured that the electric control valve controlling the heat source does not open when the system does not reach the safe water level, thus avoiding the loss of heat and the occurrence of accidents.

The resistance value of the "1/8npt water temp gauge sensor" used by each brand of car is different (between 275 ohms and 6500 ohms). Its principle is to provide an analog signal of temperature change to the engine control unit. Its power supply voltage is 5V power supplied by the control unit, and the signal returned to the control unit is 1.3V-3.8V linear change signal. Tell the engine control unit what the current temperature is. In turn, its signal is very important to the control unit.

There are two types of water temp gauge sensors for vehicles and ships. Regardless of its internal structure, it is thermistor, and its resistance value is between ohm and ohm. Moreover, the lower the temperature, the higher the resistance, and the higher the temperature, the lower the resistance. The function of the first type of water temp gauge sensor is relatively simple, which is to drive the change of the water temperature meter through the change of its internal resistance to change the current through the change of the sensor resistance, and indirectly tell people the working temperature of the engine. The second type, the vehicle and ship water temp gauge sensor has no change in structure, but its function is to provide an analog quantity of temperature change to the engine control unit.
