1. Speedometer
The speedometer is used to indicate the speed of the car and record the mileage. The part that indicates the speed is called the speedometer, and the part that records the mileage is called the odometer.According to the working principle, the speedometer can be divided into two types: magnetic induction type and pointer electronic type.
2. Fuel gauge
Fuel gauges are used to indicate the fuel level in a car's fuel tank.The fuel gauge generally consists of a sensor that indicates the fuel level and transmits a fuel level signal.

Correct use of car gauge:
1. Wipe the surface of each meter frequently, on the one hand to prevent dust and oil from invading the inside of the meter and damage the watch core, on the other hand, it is also convenient to observe the dynamics of the pointer of the meter.
2. Master the relationship between the performance of each instrument and the indication state of the instrument and the working conditions of the relevant parts of the engine, so as to judge the working condition of the engine and find the fault location and cause according to the indication state of the instrument.
3. When the engine is started, it is necessary to observe the dynamics of each instrument, find abnormalities, and deal with them in time; while the engine is running and the car is running, the dynamics of each instrument should also be observed frequently in order to grasp the working conditions of each related system.
4. Instruments with different voltage values should not be used for each other except the ammeter, so as not to damage the instrument.5. The sensor performance of electrothermal and electromagnetic instruments is quite different. For example, the resistance value of the variable resistance sensor of the electrothermal fuel gauge decreases with the rise of the fuel level in the fuel tank, while the resistance value of the variable resistance sensor of the electromagnetic fuel gauge changes in the opposite direction; the resistance value of the electrothermal oil pressure gauge sensor the variable resistance value decreases with the increase of oil pressure, and the change of the variable resistance value of the electromagnetic oil pressure gauge is just the opposite; the resistance value of the thermistor of the electric heating water temperature gauge sensor is 220 ohms when the water temperature is 50 °C , when the water temperature is 115 ℃, it is reduced to 20 ohms, and the thermistor of the electromagnetic water temperature meter sensor, the resistance value is still high when the water temperature is 100 ℃
