If the grounding is normal, the measurement in the oil tank will be displayed in the instrument. The voltage of the oil level sensor is controlled by the instrument. Find the harness of the oil level sensor at the plug of the oil pump and measure the voltage with a multimeter. Generally, the voltage is about 5V. If there is no 5V voltage at the plug of the oil pump, you can judge whether the instrument is faulty according to the circuit diagram.
