boat fuel gauge stuck on 3/4
The boat oil fuel level gauge stuck on 3/4 . In case of this failure, the following points should be considered and checked: whether the tank is filled with oil; if the filling amount is insufficient, the gun will jump, and the fuel vapor recovery device should be checked to see if it is blocked. If it is determined that the tank is full of oil and the oil gauge shows insufficient, check the oil level sensor to see if it is stuck/damaged . Check whether the oil level is inaccurate due to deformation at the bottom of the oil tank.
Open a tank of oil to see if the range of a tank of oil has changed. Determine whether the oil gauge is inaccurate or not filled up at all. This is usually caused by the oil level sensor, that is, the float is stuck and cannot float to the top, causing inaccurate display. The fuel filter of this vehicle is built in. It is likely that the float of the fuel gauge is stuck or deviated when replacing the steam filter to disassemble the fuel pump assembly! Disassemble it again!
The fuel gauge stuck on 3/4 may be caused by the following reasons:
1. First, check whether the battery is powered, and the gear position display and headlight are on. 2. Check the oil level sensor when there is power, which is commonly known as the oil float. If the two wires of the float are short circuited with a wire and the oil gauge responds, it is a problem of the float. 3. There is a small chip sensor at the top of the oil float. It may be that the golden finger is dirty due to poor oil quality, so it needs to be wiped with an eraser. 4. After the instrument is removed, use a multimeter+pin to align the circuit of the corresponding oil gauge on the instrument for detection. Remove the floating oil of the oil pump, that is, the oil level sensor of the oil tank, which is usually connected to the oil pump. When the oil float is stuck, the oil pump needs to be removed for treatment. Many people mistakenly believed that the float could not float up and down normally due to the stuck connecting rod between the oil level sensor and the float, causing the float to break. This condition will cause the oil gauge needle to freeze at a certain position.
