Why the Harley speedometer light change?
A flashing red light on the instrument panel may be caused by the following reasons:
The water temperature warning light is on, indicating that the engine water temperature is too high. The cause may be the lack of water in the water tank, the failure of the water temperature sensor, and the failure of the water circulation cooling system. You should stop and check at this moment, otherwise it may damage the engine when the brake fault light is on, it may be that the brake pads are worn to the limit, the brakes are lacking, and the route is short-circuited. If there is a brake light failure, you should stop the car to check whether there is a problem with the brakes, whether the car can be braked, and drive to a nearby repair shop to check in time. Otherwise, the car can't be braked seriously, causing the car to crash and die. Check if the signal is interrupted due to dirt on the wheels, or if the sensor is burning out and malfunctioning, reducing safety hazards.
The reason why the Harley instrument panel does not light up:
1.The key switch is in poor contact and can be turned several times;
2.The battery is dead, you can use the DC gear of the multimeter to test;
3.There is a poor contact between the instrument panel plug-ins, and the circuit of the instrument panel has an open circuit fault, which needs to be checked one by one;
4.If the connector has poor contact, it will cause the instrument panel to be unable to supply power normally, which will cause the instrument panel lamp not to light up. It is necessary to find the place with poor contact, unplug it again, and plug the harness connector again, so that the problem of the instrument panel not lighting up can be solved;
5. If the LED fails, the instrument panel will not light up directly after the LED fails. For this problem, you can directly replace the LED with a new one.
