The sudden increase in the scale of the oil gauge is mainly due to the jamming of the connecting rod between the oil level sensor and the float , which prevents the float from floating up and down normally , resulting in no change in the sensor. Therefore , the pointer of the oil gauge is fixed at a certain position . It is recommended to choose gasoline with better oil quality when refueling a car for these conditions on the oil fuel level gauge , as clean gasoline will reduce impurities in the oil pump and reduce the probability of the gauge malfunctioning.
