how to hook up a digital oil pressure and temp gauge

Electronic induction oil pressure gauge is an instrument used to detect engine oil pressure, which can help car owners timely understand the operating status of the engine for maintenance and upkeep. Pay attention to the following points when wiring:

1. Find the engine oil pressure sensor, usually located on the upper or side of the engine, and you can find the specific location through the vehicle maintenance manual.
2. Connect the signal wire of the electronic induction oil pressure gauge to the output end of the oil pressure sensor, usually a plug or connector.
3. Connect the power cord of the electronic induction oil pressure gauge to the vehicle power cord, usually controlled by a fuse or switch.
4. Connect the grounding wire of the electronic induction oil pressure gauge to the vehicle's grounding wire, usually through the metal frame at the bottom of the vehicle or the grounding point on the vehicle body. After completing the connection, start the engine and observe the display of the electronic induction oil pressure gauge to ensure that the oil pressure is normal. If any abnormalities are found, they should be promptly inspected and repaired.

The graduation numbers and symbols on the pressure gauge dial should be complete and clear. The dial graduation scale should be evenly distributed, with a center angle of 270 °. The pointer of the pressure gauge should extend into all graduation lines, and the width of its pointer indicating end should not be greater than 1/5 of the minimum graduation interval. The distance between the pointer and the plane of the dial should be within the range of 1-3mm. For cases with an outer diameter of 200mm or more (including 200mm), the distance between the pointer and the plane of the dial should be within the range of 2-4mm. A pressure gauge with a stop pin should have the pointer tightly against the stop pin when there is no pressure or vacuum, and the "shrinkage" should not exceed the specified allowable error. The pressure gauge casing should be able to protect the internal components from contamination, and the pressure gauge should be equipped with a safety hole, which should be equipped with a dust proof device. The temperature gauge has three wires, including the main and auxiliary wires, and one signal wire. The signal wire is used to control the grounding wire. After connecting the power supply wire of the water temperature gauge, the signal wire will raise the grounding wire of the gauge. Finally, connect the two plug water temperature sensors to connect one end to the signal and the other end to the ground. The signal wire of the meter is F, S, or e. The connection steps are as follows:

Find the water supply pipe, usually 28mm, which is very obvious inside the carriage. Cut the length of the opening at a suitable position as close as possible but not more than the length of the tee.
