During application, the adjustment and setting of various data are completed through three buttons on the support. The inverted triangle symbol on the left of the support is the "down" button, the middle is the "set" button, and the triangle symbol on the right is the "up" button. By continuously pressing the "set" button, the function of the tachometer will cycle according to the five states of "clock - speed - set warning - set number of cylinders - cumulative working time of the engine". Each state is described in detail below:

1. Clock status.

In this state, the arc-shaped LED light column dynamically displays the rotating speed, and the four digit nixie tube displays the time according to the 24-hour system. The display brightness is doubled during 7:00-19:00 to adapt to the ambient brightness during the day, and the soft brightness is maintained at other times (night). Press the "down" button to adjust the minutes and the "up" button to adjust the hours.

2. Speed status.

In this state, the arc LED light column dynamically displays the speed, the four digit nixie tube dynamically and accurately displays the speed, and the nixie tube display is refreshed every 0.5 seconds.

3. Set warning status

In this state, the four digit nixie tube has no display. One unit in the arc-shaped LED light column is off and the others are all on. The off unit indicates the currently set warning speed.

Press the "down" button to adjust the warning speed downward, and press the "up" button to adjust the warning speed upward. During operation, when the engine speed is higher than the set warning speed, the warning lamp will be on, otherwise it will be off. This function can be used flexibly. For example, the warning speed can be set in the low and medium speed area for shift prompt, or it can be set in the high speed area to indicate overspeed warning.

4. Set cylinder number status

Although this function is developed to adapt to the application of multi cylinder vehicles, strictly speaking, it is the magnification setting of the input signal. Therefore, it can not be simply understood that several cylinder vehicles are set to several. A correct understanding of this function is the key to ensure the normal operation of the tachometer.

5. Cumulative working time of engine

In this state, the arc-shaped LED light column dynamically displays the speed, and the four digit nixie tube displays the accumulated working time (hours) of the engine. At the same time, press the "down" key and "up" to reset the accumulated working time of the engine. The accumulated working time of the engine can be used as the basis for engine oil change and maintenance.
