The marine engine needs "cooling water", and the water discharged during navigation is likely to be "cooling water". It is not difficult to understand that no matter the engine or other mechanical equipment in the ship, they will continuously generate heat during operation. For the diesel engine, if 25% to 35% of the heat is not released in time, it will not work properly. Too high temperature will also affect the strength of the cylinder and components, and damage the diesel engine. Therefore, the "cooling water system" of ships is very important.

For example, the fins of the water radiator collapse in a large area, and there are oil sludge and sundries between the fins, which will block the heat emission. Especially when the surface of the water radiator is stained with oil, the thermal conductivity of the oil sludge mixture formed by dust and oil is smaller than that of the scale, which seriously hinders the heat dissipation effect. At this time, thin steel sheet (such as waste hacksaw blade) can be used to carefully move the heat sink back to its original position, restore the flat shape of the heat sink, and then clean it with compressed air or water gun. For example, the effect is better if the water is heated and sprayed with cleaning solution.

The marine speed of the induced draft fan is too low, and the blade is deformed or installed reversely. If the fan belt is too loose, it will slip, resulting in low fan speed and reduced air supply effect. If the tape is too loose, it should be adjusted. If the rubber layer is aged, damaged or the fiber layer is broken, it should be replaced; When the fan blade is deformed, it can be compared with a new blade of the same specification to see if the included angle of the blade relative to the rotating plane is reduced. Replace the induced draft fan.
