motorcycle speedometer and tachometer combo

Motorcycle speedometer and tachometer are two different things. They can only coincide at a certain speed, not at every speed, and at the same speed, not at all times. For example, at the same speed, different road conditions, gears, loads, acceleration or driving at a constant speed will affect the speed and engine speed. For general motorcycles, the speedometer may be "consistent" with the tachometer only when driving at the medium speed of the highest gear, but this "consistency" is not really consistent. The speedometer unit is km / h, and the tachometer unit is kilo rpm. For example, 60 km / h and 6000 RPM only have a 6, but it is not "consistent".

The speedometer indicates that the driving speed of the vehicle is generally within the range of 0-300 km\h, and the tachometer indicates that the engine speed is generally 0-8000 r\min.

Different models of motorcycles have different speeds for each gear, and each gear can be driven within a certain speed. The higher the gear, the larger the speed range, and there is no so-called "standard speed". The tachometer and speedometer of the motorcycle have a reference relationship, that is, shift gears according to the speed and speed to avoid insufficient power or fuel waste. Shift gears at a reasonable speed, which matches the reasonable speed.

The gear in the engine drives the external flexible shaft wire to transmit the engine speed to the tachometer (mechanical tachometer). The ignition trigger in the magneto (the ignition trigger contacts once when the engine rotates once) transmits the contact signal to the tachometer (electronic induction tachometer) through the wire.

Motorcycle tachometer, used when adjusting idle speed; Don't exceed the red sign when riding. When shifting gears, it is OK to increase the gear position by feeling the working condition and sound of the engine, which is the so-called driving speed.

When a motorcycle is on the road, the speedometer and tachometer will not be the same "high". Only at a certain speed can they be the same "high". This speed is generally higher or lower than this speed when the motorcycle is running at a constant speed on the flat road at the highest gear at a medium speed, or under different conditions, they will not be the same "high".
