Connect the high voltage primary of the igniter, and the ignition voltage is about 200V. If your tachometer is not designed with high voltage sensitivity, the display is inaccurate. The pulse signal of the tachometer generally comes from three sources, one is the trigger signal, one is the ignition high-voltage primary, and the other is the AC output of the magneto. You can test it separately and use whichever is accurate.

The digital tachometer has four leads: red, black, yellow and green.

1. The red line is the power line of the tachometer. Since the clock of the tachometer needs to work continuously, the red line must be powered at all times and can be connected behind the power fuse.
2. Black wire, the ground wire of the tachometer, can be connected to any grounding wire.
3. Yellow line, tachometer working line, after the yellow line is powered on, all parts of the tachometer start to work, and the light on the panel is on. The yellow line is connected to the power line behind the ignition key switch. After turning on the key switch, the tachometer starts to work.
4. The green line is the signal line of the tachometer and connected to the trigger signal end of the igniter.
