water tank level gauge with a float

The water tank of a car is usually located behind the air conditioning condenser. Opening the engine compartment reveals the upper cover of the water tank, which is the main component of the car's cooling system; Its function is to dissipate heat. Cooling water absorbs heat in the water jacket, flows to the radiator, dissipates the heat, and then returns to the water jacket for continuous circulation. Thus achieving the effect of heat dissipation and temperature regulation. It is also an important component of car engines. Most float water tank level gauges are a combination of on-site indication magnetic replica level gauges and remote transmission magnetic float level gauges. Their principle belongs to magnetic coupling, consisting of float, measuring cylinder, transmitter, detection element (the transmitter is accompanied by a stainless steel tube that is the same length as the measuring cylinder, and inside is a circuit board combined with a reed tube and a resistor), and generally there is a magnetic flip level gauge (dual color) that is easy to observe on site.

The water tank is an important part of the water-cooled engine. As an important component of the cooling circuit of the water-cooled engine, it can absorb the heat of the cylinder block and prevent the engine from overheating. Because the specific heat capacity of the water is large, the temperature rise after absorbing the heat of the cylinder block is not much.

So the heat of the engine is transmitted through the liquid circuit of cooling water, using water as a heat carrier for heat transfer, and then dissipated by convection through a large area of heat dissipation fins to maintain the appropriate operating temperature of the engine.

Car water tanks can use soft water, while hard water needs to be softened before use to avoid internal blockage and scale formation in the radiator. And when using antifreeze, in order to avoid corrosion of the radiator, it is necessary to use a long-term rust resistant antifreeze produced by a reputable manufacturer that meets national standards. During the installation of the radiator, please do not damage the heat dissipation zone (fins) or damage the radiator to ensure heat dissipation capacity and sealing. When completely draining and refilling the radiator, the water drain switch on the engine block should be turned on first. When there is water flowing out, it should be turned off again to avoid water bubbles.
