water temp gauge for boat

Our water temp gauge is not only for auto , but also for boat and marine. And our gauges have different colors. You can select which you want.

Sometimes the boat water temp gauge doesn't move, and the car can continue to run in a short time. Here let me tell me why. The reason why the water temperature gauge doesn't move may be that the water temperature gauge or temperature probe is broken. As long as the water tank is not short of water, the normal driving will not be affected. It is recommended not to operate at full load before troubleshooting. Whether the fuel consumption is irrelevant to the movement of the thermometer, but related to the operation condition of the vehicle. Reduced coolant leakage will cause the water temperature to rise. At this time, check whether there is coolant leakage! If yes, the leaking parts should be repaired as soon as possible. If there is no leakage, add corresponding coolant in time! White water is not recommended as coolant.

There may also be a problem with the power line of the water temperature gauge, or the electric heating coil of the water temperature gauge is burnt out. It is also possible that the electric heating coil of the water temperature gauge sensor is burnt out or the contact is poor, and the wiring of the water temperature gauge sensor wire is poor or open circuit. These may cause the water temperature gauge to not work.

We can check the water temperature gauge and the circuit by ourselves, and check whether the plug has poor contact and whether the plug has poor contact. Then check the water temperature sensor. Check whether the water temperature is damaged, whether the plug is in poor contact and whether the plug is in poor contact. Then open the water tank cover to see if the water in the aqueous phase is not hot. If the water temperature is low, consider the radiator. If the water temperature is normal, consider the sensor failure. In order to ensure that the engine works within the normal temperature range, the vehicle will be equipped with an engine coolant temperature sensor, which is usually displayed separately on the vehicle instrument panel (water temperature gauge). If the antifreeze temperature is too high, an alarm will appear. Generally speaking, the engine water temperature gauge adopts physical or virtual dial pointer display, while a few vehicles have no instrument panel, and the warning sign appears only when the temperature is too high.

Whether it is a physical or virtual water temperature gauge, its pointer orientation is basically similar. Generally, it is marked with 60 ℃ - 120 ℃ dial or C and H. Antifreeze is different from traditional tap water. It can work at a temperature above 100 ℃ due to the addition of calcium chloride, methanol, ethanol, ethylene glycol, glycerol and other components in organic matter.

The lower the engine coolant temperature is, the better. The higher the engine coolant temperature is, the better. It needs to be within a certain range. The normal temperature is 90 ℃ in the center of the pointer. After the vehicle starts, the antifreeze temperature rises rapidly. After the pointer reaches the central position, the heat exchange balance antifreeze temperature will not rise. Generally speaking, it is best to start when the temperature reaches the middle position, which is one of the reasons why the vehicle needs to be hot before starting.
