what is a ohms resistance level in a fuel gauge

The resistance value in a fuel gauge is 4-80 ohms, and the resistance of the oil float is 0-5 ohms. Gasoline float problems are generally higher than variable resistor aging or poor contact has changed.

How much is the resistance of the automobile fuel pressure sensor normal:

In the fuel supply system, the main faults related to it are the fuel pressure is too high, too low, no residual pressure, no fuel injection from the nozzle, jitter caused by uneven fuel injection, etc. an excessive fuel pressure

Fault phenomenon:

The fuel pressure is too high, a fault code is reported, or the mixture is too rich and black smoke is emitted.

possible reason:

A. The oil return pipe is blocked;
B. Failure of the fuel pressure regulator;
C. The high pressure oil pump regulator is damaged;
D. Failure of fuel pressure sensor or related circuit.

Solution:

a. Ask whether maintenance and operation have been done before the failure occurs.

b. If there is a fault code, first read the fault code, record the code, and see if it occurs again, whether it is a historical fault or a current fault;

c. Measure the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge. The fault is true if the fuel pressure is as shown on the data stream and is higher than the norm. If not, first check the fuel pressure sensor and its related circuits for faults.

d. If the fuel pressure is too high, check if the fuel pressure regulator is working. (If there is no return line in the engine rail, check the fuel filter or pressure valve in the fuel tank for oil return)

e. If it is found that the above vacuum pipe does not fall off when checking the fuel pressure regulator, check whether there is oil return. If there is fuel return, clamp the return line again to see if the fuel pressure continues to rise. If the fuel pressure is basically the same when clamped and unclamped, it means that the fuel return pipe is blocked.
