1947 truck water temp gauge

One compartment of the 1947 truck water temperature gauge represents about one liter. In order to ensure that the engine works within the normal temperature range, the vehicle will be equipped with an engine coolant temperature sensor, which is usually displayed separately on the vehicle dashboard. If the antifreeze temperature is too high, an alarm will appear. Generally speaking, the engine water temperature gauge adopts the physical or virtual dial pointer display, while a few vehicles do not have the instrument panel. The warning sign appears only on the day when the temperature is too high, which is generally about one liter.

The 1947 truck water temp gauge is best displayed in the middle position. The water temperature gauge on the freight car instrument panel is bright white, indicating that the engine water temperature is too low. Generally, the water temperature indicator will light red light or green light. The red light is generally used to remind that the temperature is too high, and the green light is generally used to remind that it is normal. If neither of the two lights is on, it is the problem of low water temperature. Therefore, bright white means that the water temperature is too low. White water temperature indicator is definitely abnormal. Generally, it is normal for the water temperature indicator to be green, and the following colors are abnormal:

1.If the red light of the water temperature indicator is always on, it means that the water temperature of the engine is too high;
2.The red light of the water temperature indicator lights up: it indicates that the engine water temperature is too high or the water temperature sensor is short circuited;
3.If the green light and red light are not on, it means that the engine water temperature is too low or the water temperature sensor.

Generally, the temperature of the engine coolant can reach more than 80-90 degrees Celsius. This high-temperature coolant is pumped to the radiator by the water pump for heat dissipation, so the temperature in the water tank is slightly lower, but it is also 40-50 degrees or even higher.

The truck diesel engine now basically adopts the water-cooled diesel engine, because the cooling effect is good. When the temperature or working load changes, it is easy to adjust the cooling intensity, so that the diesel engine always works within the specified temperature (70 ℃ ~ 95 ℃), so it is normal for the 1947 truck water temperature to be within 70 ℃ ~ 95 ℃.
