Since the transmission ratio between the generator and the engine is fixed, the speed of the generator will change with the change of the engine speed. During the operation of the vehicle, the engine speed changes in a large range, and the terminal voltage of the generator will also change in a large range with the change of the engine speed. The voltage of the generator is required to be stable for supplying power to the electric equipment and charging the battery. If the pointer of the ammeter still points to "0" after the diesel engine is started to the rated speed, and the adjustment is not adjusted according to the technical requirements , it shall be checked and adjusted again .
