2 stroke outboard tachometer

Our tachometer can be used on 2 stroke outboard . The ignition angle principle and adjustment method of the 2 stroke outboard engine "provides you with the following answers:  Adjustment method without timing lamp. First, adjust the contact clearance of the Distributor to the appropriate value as required. Find the top dead center position of the first cylinder compression.

Remove the high-pressure branch line of one cylinder. Remove the first cylinder spark plug with a spark plug sleeve, block the spark plug hole with your thumb or cloth, and then shake the 2 stroke outboard engine crankshaft. When you feel resistance in the cylinder, slowly rotate the crankshaft while observing to align the timing mark. Adjust the power distribution to the moment when the contact is closed. After the above parts meet the requirements, turn on the ignition switch , loosen the fixing screws of the Distributor housing , and rotate the Distributor housing to close the breaker contacts . Then rotate the Distributor in reverse direction until the contacts of the Distributor have just opened . At this moment , a small spark can be seen between the contacts . Then tighten the fixing screws of the Distributor housing , and adjust the Octane rating to the position where the scale is zero . At this point , the direction indicated by the ignition head is the position of one cylinder . Plug in the high-voltage distribution line on the Distributor cover according to the Firing order , tighten the screws manually , and temporarily fix the Distributor.

The 2 stroke outboard engine should not use the method of low speed and high throttle to increase power. This is because at low speeds , the torque is small, and the corresponding force on the crankshaft, connecting rod, and piston increases, causing a sudden increase in friction under normal proportions of lubricating oil, which can damage the machine parts. When a 2 stroke outboard engine is idling, the mixture of gasoline and oil is relatively high, which can easily form carbon deposits. During winter preheating, the 2 stroke outboard engine should be operated at a speed of 1500~2000r/min, and the engine should be shut down in a timely manner after stopping. Insert the plug and rotate the crankshaft once , intake → compression → work → exhaust for 4 strokes, and rotate the crankshaft twice! Throttle Tachometer 1-2-3-4-5-6... represents that the crankshaft rotates at 1000-2000-3000-4000-5000RPM.
