3 wire fuel level sender to 2 wire gauge dodge ram

3 wire fuel level sender to 2 wire gauge dodge ram that should be green, yellow, white and black respectively. Green is the ground wire, yellow and white is the sensor wire, and the black one is the outlet wire of the electric door lock.

There are three lines on the fuel gauge, under normal circumstances, one is the power line, mostly black, the other two are responsible for full tank oil, and the other is responsible for no oil, they correspond to the same color line of the oil level sensor in the fuel tank, the oil level sensor. One of the three lines is ground, and the other two are connected to the two lines of the corresponding color on the oil gauge.

The fuel consumption sensor is a device that uses the magnetic field to control the on-off of the contacts in the reed switch, converts the measured change into an output signal, and linearly measures the oil level (water level).

The wire end of the motor should have three wires. The two main windings of the motor should be connected to the 220 OV mains, and the other secondary winding should be connected to the four capacitors. The picture shows that the main winding of the red and blue lines should be connected to the 220V mains, the red and yellow lines, and the secondary windings.

The meaning of the three lines of the oil level switch is as follows:

1. The three lines are the oil signal line, the oil surface ground line, and the low oil signal line;
2. The voltage of the oil quantity sensing line changes with the change of the oil quantity in the fuel tank;
3. The ground wire of the oil surface is different from other ground wires. In order to accurately measure the fuel volume of the fuel tank, the original car connects the ground wire from the instrument panel to the ground of the fuel tank sensor.
Wire. The electric negative value between this line and the frame is 0 or approximately 0 (Note: the multimeter should be measured at 200 ohms);
4. Low fuel sensing line When the fuel level is lower than the lowest point (counting point), the sensor switch is closed, and this line is connected to the ground line of the fuel surface. low on dashboard
The oil warning light will come on, and when the fuel level is higher than the lowest point (warning point), the low oil warning light will go out.
