Speedometer repair atlanta sensor

Repair method of speedometer repair atlanta sensor:

1. How to detect the linear output throttle position sensor?

①Remove the connection plug of the throttle position sensor, measure the resistance between the signal output terminal pin of the sensor and the ground iron terminal pin with the multimeter resistance gear, connect at the same time and slowly change the opening degree of the throttle valve. The opening increases continuously, and there is no sudden change in the middle.

② Use a multimeter to measure the resistance between the idle contact (IDL) signal terminal of the sensor and the ground terminal. When the throttle is closed, the resistance is 0 ohms. Should be infinite.

2. How to detect the signal voltage of the hot wire air flow meter?

①Remove the air flow meter, apply the battery voltage between the flow meter terminal power supply and the ground, and then measure the voltage between the output terminal and the ground, the standard value is about 1.1~1.2V.

②Blow air from the air inlet of the hot-wire air flow meter. At this time, measure the signal voltage between the output terminal and the ground, and the voltage is 2.4V.

3. How to use the method of measuring resistance to judge whether the temperature sensor is good or bad?

Put the intake air temperature sensor in heated water. For the sensor with negative temperature coefficient, use a multimeter to detect its resistance value. If it decreases with the increase of water temperature, the sensor is good. If there is no change, the intake air temperature sensor is damaged.

4. How to use an automotive oscilloscope to detect the signal of the Hall-type camshaft position sensor?

When the engine is running, use an automotive oscilloscope to measure the signal waveform between the signal output terminal of the Hall camshaft position sensor and the ground terminal. The waveform on the oscilloscope should be a sawtooth square wave with an amplitude between 0 and 5V. As the engine speed increases, only the waveform frequency increases, but the amplitude does not change, which is in compliance with the standard.

5. How to use a multimeter to detect the signal of the zirconia oxygen sensor?

Start the engine and run it to normal temperature, then make the engine rotate at 2500rpm for more than 2 minutes, and keep the speed at this time, use a multimeter to measure the signal voltage between the signal output terminal of the sensor and the ground, and the reading should be at Constantly changing within the range of 0.1~0.9V, the number of times the signal voltage is constantly changing around 0.45V should not be less than 8 times within 10s, otherwise the oxygen sensor will not work normally.

6. How to check whether the piezoelectric knock sensor is good?

The ignition switch is in the "ON" position, do not start the engine, use a car oscilloscope to measure the signal waveform between the output terminal of the sensor and the ground, and then hit the cylinder near the knock sensor with a metal object. After the body, the oscilloscope should display a sharp waveform, the greater the knock, the greater the amplitude, indicating that the sensor is good. If the oscilloscope shows a straight line, it means that the knock sensor has no signal output, and the wire may be broken or the sensor may be damaged.
