analog water temp gauge

The analog water temp gauge sign is a sign with two rows of ripples under a thermometer on the instrument panel . The vehicle water temperature gauge has two types of lights : green and red , with green indicating low temperature and red indicating high temperature .

The first grid of the vehicle analog water temp gauge: above 41 ℃. In other words, if the first grid is not reached , the water temperature will not reach 41 ℃. Second grid: above 61 ℃. Usually , after preheating in winter , the water temperature gauge can start to work normally when it reaches the second grid. Fourth grid: above 95 ℃. We know that the optimal temperature for engine operation is between 85 and 95 ℃. The first four squares of the water temperature gauge have the same color, and if they exceed four squares , it indicates that the water temperature is on the high side . Fifth grid: above 105 ℃. At this time , it is already high temperature , and the pot is about to be opened. Due to the water tank cover , the boiling temperature is higher than 100 ℃, and the principle is the same as that of a pressure cooker . Above the fifth half : above 107 ℃. At this time , when the boiler is turned on , the buzzer will give an alarm , and the EPOS (computer board) will control the engine to slow down for protection . The accelerator cannot be applied until measures are taken to lower the water temperature to below 105 ℃ (below the fifth half grid) , the control will return to normal , and the buzzer will be turned off .

The sensor for the vehicle analog water temp gauge identifies the water temperature by changing the resistance value. The higher the water temperature, the higher the resistance value, and the higher the gauge pointer . This is a single wire water temperature sensor , indicating that it is necessary to connect the engine body through the sensor housing, and then connect the battery negative electrode through the engine ground wire . Did you apply sealant when replacing the water temperature sensor ? This resulted in a high resistance value in the circuit and an error indicating a high water temperature. Please check carefully.
