At the normal temperature of the engine, connect a voltmeter to the positive and negative electrodes of the battery, and pull out the fuel injector wires to prevent the engine from starting. Start the engine and run it continuously for 5~10 seconds. At the same time, observe the degree of the voltmeter. If the starter and the line are well connected, and the 12V battery voltage is 9.6 V or higher, it indicates that the battery is in good technical condition.
How to charge the boat battery to 16V with a 12V charger? We have no electricity. When the voltmeter is almost exhausted, the voltage will be on the high side. The water won't drown the boat, will it? The maximum voltage of 12V charger is about 14.6v. If the charger itself cannot reach 16V, how to charge the battery to 16V? Check whether the voltmeter displays current. Replace the watch with a battery for testing. Or, you can test whether the rechargeable battery works normally. If the battery can be charged to 16V, it will overheat. You can touch the battery with your hand to see if it is hot. If it is very hot, this is abnormal.
