freightliner oil pressure and voltage gauge not working

The truck freightliner oil pressure gauge not working generally lies in three aspects: pressure gauge, sensor and sensing circuit.

Main cause:

First, the oil viscosity is too low;

Second, the filter screen of the oil filter collector or the filter element of the oil filter are blocked;

Third, the spring force of the pressure limiting valve and the oil return valve is weakened or broken, or the sealing of the valve joint surface is not tight, resulting in oil leakage and pressure relief;

Fourth, the clearance of main bearing or connecting rod bearing is too large;

Fifth, the oil pump works poorly.

When the automobile (large truck) freightliner is running, the vibration is large, the connecting plugs of various wires are easy to loosen, and poor contact in the instrument panel is a common fault phenomenon. The voltmeter gauge does not working, which should be caused by loose connecting wires. In addition, it does not rule out the damage of the voltmeter itself. Under no-load condition, there should be no current under normal conditions. Now there is a current, which is large and the voltage is pulled down. It should be considered that there is a short circuit inside the generator set.

If the starter does not work or barely works. The first thing to check at this time is the battery or battery. If you have a lot of voltmeters, the best way is to check them. Connect the positive and negative poles of the battery, and then turn the key to ignite. At the moment of power on, if the voltage indication suddenly drops below 8 volts, there must be something wrong with your battery. It doesn't matter if you don't have a voltmeter.You can replace it with a small 12 volt bulb and a small power cord. The method is the same. If the bulb suddenly darkens significantly, it also indicates that the battery is aging. In many cases, the battery has failed, but it can still turn on the headlights. This is not surprising.Only at the moment of ignition can we really test the performance of the battery. Because its load is the largest at this time. There is another simple way: observe the outer wall of the battery with the naked eye. If it is found that it has expanded and deformed, it means that a new battery is absolutely necessary. The reason why the starter does not work is not only the battery, but also the damage of the ignition switch, ignition relay or the starter itself. In addition, check the grounding circuit and fuse.
