honda outboard tachometer wiring diagram

The wiring method of honda outboard tachometer x100r/min should add a DC motor on the main shaft of the engine (such as beside the generator). Then measure its voltage and calibrate the corresponding value with a tachometer. For outboard, the wiring is very simple, with only four leads: red, black, yellow and green.

1. The red line is the power line of the tachometer. Because the clock of the handa outboard tachometer needs to work continuously, the red line must always be powered and can be connected behind the power fuse .

2. The black wire , the ground wire of the honda outboard tachometer, can be connected to any ground wire .

3. The yellow line is the working line of the honda outboard tachometer . After the yellow line is powered on, all parts of the tachometer start to work , and the lamp on the panel lights up . The yellow line is connected to the power line behind the ignition key switch . After the key switch is turned on , the tachometer starts to work .

4. The green wire, the signal wire of the tachometer , is connected to the trigger signal terminal of the igniter .

If the coupling is used for direct transmission , the rated speed of the motor shall be equal to the rated speed of the production machinery . If belt drive is adopted, the rated speed of the motor shall not be too different from the rated speed of the production machinery , and its speed ratio shall not be greater than 3 generally . When belt drive is adopted , the honda outboard with synchronous speed of 1500 r/min can generally be selected . The speed of this motor is easy to match the speed of general production machinery . When selecting the speed of the motor , it should be noted that the speed should not be too low , because when the power is constant , the lower the rated speed of the honda outboard , the more poles , the larger the volume , the higher the price and the lower the efficiency . On the contrary , the speed of the honda outboard should not be too high , otherwise the transmission device will be too complex . Generally , the four-pole motor is adopted , that is , the synchronous speed is 1500 r/min.
