how to fix speedometer on car

How to fix speedometer on car:

The speedometer is arranged in the most prominent position of the instrument panel, indicating the current speed of the car, the unit is km/h, and the total mileage and short-distance mileage, the unit is km, of which the total mileage cannot be changed, and the one-way mileage can be reset and set as needed. Speedometers are divided into magnetic induction speedometers and electronic speedometers.

Speedometers and odometers are usually mounted in the same housing, driven by the same shaft, or use the same sensor. The speedometer uses a magnetoelectric ammeter as an indicator. When the car runs at different speeds, the signal processing circuit converts the pulse signal input by the speed sensor into a current signal proportional to the speed of the vehicle, so that the pointer of the ammeter deflects to indicate the corresponding speed. The odometer is composed of a stepping motor, a six-digit decimal counter and an internal transmission gear. When installing the flexible shaft, first connect the square joint of the flexible shaft to the speedometer, and screw the nut. Then turn the flat joint quickly by hand, and observe the speedometer at this time. The pointer should be able to bounce off the 0 position of the dial, and then quickly return to the "0" position, indicating that the square joint is installed correctly. Then insert the flat joint into the jack of the transmission joint. It should be noted that the flat side of the flat joint must be inserted into the birch mouth of the jack, otherwise the flexible shaft will not rotate and the speedometer will not work normally.

The connection between the flexible shaft core of the flexible shaft and the rotating shaft of the odometer should have a longitudinal gap (normal value is about 1---3mm). When assembling, the flexible shaft core can be twitched at one end of the flexible shaft by hand, and you can feel whether there is a gap. If there is no clearance, due to the influence of the bending degree of the flexible shaft during rotation, the changing longitudinal pressure between the flexible shaft and the speedometer rotating shaft will increase the wear of the flexible shaft core and the flexible shaft tube, and will produce uneven work during operation. Rotation causes the speedometer needle to swing substantially. Therefore, when installing the flexible shaft, the curvature radius of the flexible shaft should be greater than 150mm.
