how to remove speedometer cable from transmission

The disassembly and assembly methods of automatic transmission are as follows:

1. Remove the automatic transmission throttle cable connected to the throttle rocker arm, unplug all harness plugs on the automatic transmission, and remove all parts connected to the automatic transmission, such as the speedometer flexible shaft, hydraulic oil filler pipe, radiator oil pipe, the connecting rod between the joystick and the manual valve rocker arm, etc;

2. Remove the middle section of the exhaust pipe, and remove the shield and guard plate under the automatic transmission;

3. Loosen the connecting bolts between the transmission shaft and the output shaft of the automatic transmission, and remove the transmission shaft;

4. Remove the flywheel housing cover plate, pry the flywheel with a screwdriver, and remove the connecting bolts between the flywheel and the torque converter one by one;

5. Remove the starter, remove the connecting bracket between the automatic transmission and the frame, hold the automatic transmission with a jack, remove the connecting bolts between the automatic transmission and the flywheel housing, and lift the torque converter and the automatic transmission together.

Take out the overspeed planet carrier, overspeed clutch assembly and overspeed gear ring from the front of the automatic transmission;Remove the overspeed brake, remove the snap ring of the overspeed brake with a screwdriver, and take out the steel plate and friction plate of the overspeed brake. Remove the snap ring of the overspeed brake drum, loosen the fixing bolt on the housing, and pull out the overspeed brake drum with a puller; Remove the 2nd forced brake piston, remove the 2nd forced brake hydraulic cylinder cover snap ring from the housing, hold the hydraulic cylinder head with your fingers, blow compressed air from the hydraulic cylinder inlet, and blow out the hydraulic cylinder head and piston;Take out the intermediate shaft, remove the high-speed and reverse clutch and forward clutch components, remove the pin shaft of the 2nd forced brake belt, remove the brake belt, remove the front planetary gear, remove the front ring gear, erect the automatic transmission, pad the output shaft with a wooden block, remove the snap ring on the front planetary gear carrier, remove the front planetary gear carrier and planetary gear components, remove the front and rear sun gear components and low-speed one-way clutch, and remove the 2nd brake belt, Remove the snap ring and remove all friction plates of the 2nd brake. Remove the output shaft, the rear planetary gear, and the low and reverse brake assembly. Remove the snap ring and take out the output shaft, rear planetary gear, forward one-way clutch, low and reverse brakes and the second brake drum assembly. When disassembling the automatic transmission, all components and parts should be discharged in order to facilitate maintenance and assembly. Pay special attention to the position of each thrust washer and thrust bearing, and do not confuse them.
