oil pressure sensor issues
1. Pull off the harness plug of the oil pressure sensor and remove the oil pressure sensor.
2. Screw the hose connection of the oil pressure gauge into the bolt hole of the unit oil sensor and tighten the connection.
3. Place the oil pressure gauge where it will not contact the rotating parts and high-temperature parts of the engine.
4. Start the engine.
5. Operate the engine to reach the normal operating temperature and compare it with the specification value.
The pressure of the oil can usually also be measured with a hydraulic gauge. When the oil pressure increases, the oil pressure bends the diaphragm through the lubricating oil channel interface, and the diaphragm pushes the sliding arm into the low resistance position to increase the output current of the circuit. On the contrary, the diaphragm pushes the sliding arm into the high resistance position, reducing the output current of the circuit, and finally indicating the oil pressure with a pointer in the oil pressure gauge. Generally, the engine of various models shall be greater than 0.05Mpa at idle speed and greater than 0.2MPa at 2000r/min. After measuring the oil pressure, remove the oil pressure gauge, install the oil pressure sensor, tighten it with regular torque, connect the harness plug, start the engine, and ensure that the oil pressure sensor does not leak oil.
The oil pressure sensor can monitor the oil pressure of the system car in real time. When the oil pressure is not enough, the pressure sensor will transmit an electronic signal to the ECU, and the ECU will flash the fault indicator to inform the driver. So how should you judge the oil pressure sensor is broken? Below we will answer this question for you.
1. After the car is started, the oil pressure indicator light flashes. At this time, everyone should immediately stop the fire and send it to overhaul as soon as possible;
2. The driving force attenuation coefficient is significant. Destruction of the pressure sensor is likely to cause the engine to not be lubricated in time, so that the expansion of the sliding friction force of the master cylinder will cause a certain reduction in the driving force;
3. The fault code "P01CA" can be obtained on the special computer, which indicates that the working voltage of the oil pressure sensor is higher than the limit.
