speedometer moving while stopped

First, check the instrument panel power supply fuse, if it is blown, it needs to be replaced. Disassemble the instrument panel. The lights are generally at the rear of the instrument panel. Replace the lights that are not on. Generally, if the individual lights are not on, there is no problem with the fuses and wires. The main reasons are as follows:

1. The lights of the instrument panel are damaged, and the lights need to be replaced in time;

2. The power supply line of the instrument panel is broken, and there is an open circuit or a short circuit, which will also cause the car instrument panel to not light up;

3. If the power supply fuse of the car dashboard is broken, the phenomenon of no power supply will naturally occur, and the dashboard will not light up.

Precautions in the use of car dashboards:

1. When the indicator light is on, the odometer should be observed immediately. If the accumulated mileage reaches or exceeds 100,000 km, the timing belt must be replaced, otherwise the timing belt may be broken and the engine cannot work normally.

2. After replacing the timing belt, remove the rubber plug outside the reset switch on the mileage dial, and press the reset switch inside with a small round bar to make the timing belt indicator go out. If the reset switch is operated If the rear indicator light does not go out, it may be that the reset switch is out of order or the line is grounded, and the fault should be repaired and eliminated.

3. After replacing the new timing belt, remove the odometer and adjust all the readings on the odometer to 0.

The unstable idle speed is shown as: the engine trembles and the speed is uneven when idling. The causes are: the idle air orifice is blocked, the idle device works poorly, the spark plug of individual cylinders is too weak, the seal of individual valves is not tight, the intake manifold leaks air, the ignition time is too early or too late, and the idle adjustment is improper. When the idle speed of the engine is unstable, adjust the idle speed first. If the fault cannot be eliminated after the idle speed adjustment, check whether the idle speed orifice and the idle air orifice are blocked. If the orifice is blocked, clean it with gasoline or acetone and blow it through with compressed air; If the measuring hole is not blocked, stabilize the engine speed at a certain speed and check whether there is air leakage at the middle and lower gaskets of the intake manifold or carburetor. If there is air leakage, it can be eliminated by fastening screws or adding or removing gaskets. If the unstable idle speed is accompanied by a decrease in engine power, further check the working condition of the spark plug, the sealing performance of the valve and whether the ignition time is correct, and repair and adjust it if necessary.
