Oil pressure water temp and oil temp gauge in one

I believe you have seen that on some modified vehicles or performance vehicles, there will be a group of three indicator meters above the center console. The data displayed by these meters is completely different from that displayed by the instrument panel. However, most ordinary family cars do not have these three strange instruments. What are they? What is the use of the data they indicate? In fact, they have no specific name. They are generally called engine triple meter. These three instruments measure the engine oil pressure, water temperature and turbocharging value.

Oil pressure gauge

Basically, the existence of triple tables mostly appears in high-performance vehicles. Because they are designed to take into account the owner's demand for intense driving and even running off the track, these data are the key data for monitoring the engine state. One of the most important is the oil pressure gauge, referred to as the oil pressure gauge. As we all know, the engine is lubricated by oil, and the oil is provided by the oil pump. Of course, there is an oil pressure. However, the higher the engine speed and the greater the load, the higher the oil pressure will be. When the engine temperature is insufficient or other problems occur, the oil pressure will be too low. On the performance vehicle, the oil pressure gauge mainly detects excessive oil pressure

Water temperature gauge

In fact, the water temperature gauge is available in all cars, but in general, it is placed in a small corner. Unless there is an accident, few people pay attention to it. However, for performance vehicles that need fierce driving, the water temperature gauge is very important. It can detect when the engine is too hot. Generally, when the water temperature is too high, a fairly bright LED light inside the water temperature gauge will continue to flash to remind the owner to slow down.

Oil temperature gauge

A special meter for turbocharged vehicles. In naturally aspirated vehicles, it is usually an oil thermometer or an intake thermometer. Of course, there are both. The main purpose of the turbine pressure gauge is to look at the turbocharging value, so that the owner can judge when the turbine of the car enters the state, so as to know the full burst speed of his car. The oil temperature gauge, similar to the oil pressure gauge, is used to monitor the oil state during fierce driving.
