The functions of automobile fuel gauge are very rich and advanced. Most digital fuel gauges have an LED display for easy viewing. The fuel gauge has six main functions, and each of these six functions is essential otherwise the owner will have a hard time driving the car. The owner can decide whether to refuel according to the remaining fuel in the fuel tank displayed by the fuel gauge. If you need to refuel, the fuel gauge can also show exactly how much fuel is being added each time. The fuel gauge can not only be used as a ruler, but also can more advanced and accurately display the fuel consumption per kilometer and the fuel consumption of the vehicle, and whether the fuel is saved or not. The fuel gauge will also remind owners of remaining fuel and vehicle mileage.
In daily use, you can use the short distance mileage switch to select a or B to calculate the approximate fuel consumption after refueling. If you feel that the indication of the fuel gauge is deviated, you can check it yourself first. The inspection method is as follows:
(1) Turn off the ignition switch, press and hold the short distance odometer switch with your left hand,
(2) Press and hold while turning on the ignition switch with your right hand,
(3) Release the short distance odometer switch immediately after "EESE" is displayed,
(4) At the same time of release, the LED starts to display the group number 01, and press the switch to display 02 in sequence.
(5) At this time, notice that the pointer of the fuel gauge starts to swing. Normally, the fuel gauge displays data every 2 seconds.
(6) If the pointer swings normally, it indicates that the fuel gauge is normal, and the fault of inaccurate display of oil quantity may be the oil level sensor. Generally, there are two phenomena: one is that the displayed value is higher than the actual oil quantity, and the other is that the displayed value is lower than the actual oil quantity. This requires inspection or adjustment at the maintenance point.
