When the ignition switch is on, the voltage is 0 V (normally it should be 12 V). Unplug the C108 and C202 harness plugs of the engine control unit ECM. The voltage of pin B in the vehicle speed sensor plug becomes 12 v. after inserting the harness plug of the ECM, the voltage of pin B is pulled back to 0 V (it has been confirmed in the previous inspection that the vehicle speed signal is normal when the voltage of pin B is 12 V). Finally, unplug plug B of the instrument, and then measure that the voltage of pin B in the plug of the speed sensor is 12 V and does not change. At this time, the test run confirms that the vehicle speed signal is normal, so it is suspected that there is a fault inside the instrument.
