elec. gauge, 2-5/8" water temp
Our elec. 2-5/8" water temp gauge , it is 52mm size . Can be used on different vehicles , boats , marines and so on . The car 2-5/8" elec. water temp gauge is used to detect the water temperature . The water temperature sensor is installed at the outlet of the water outlet . If the engine experiences high temperature, it can promptly remind the driver , stop the vehicle for inspection , check whether the coolant is sufficient, whether the cooling fan is rotating , and whether the thermostat is turned on . When a cold car first starts , the water temperature is low and then slowly rises . The vehicle will automatically control its temperature to reach equilibrium when heated to approximately 90 degrees Celsius , at which point the engine's work efficiency is highest . If the water temperature is found to be higher than the usual scale , then the cooling system should be suspected; If it is close to the right side of the meter head , it should be stopped immediately , at least wait for it to cool down before driving , and get out of trouble as soon as possible .
The power supply of the elec. 2-5/8" water temp gauge comes from the power regulator, and it is not allowed to directly connect it to the power live wire on the vehicle, otherwise it will cause the reading of the indicator to be inaccurate and even damage the instrument . Do not ground the connection between the elec. 2-5/8" water temp gauge and the sensor for fire testing to avoid burning out due to overheating of the heating coil . Ensure that the elec. 2-5/8" water temp gauge sensor is well sealed to prevent water leakage and sensor failure . If the elec. 2-5/8" water temp gauge and sensor of the car are already matched and damaged , the elec. 2-5/8" water temp gauge or sensor of other models cannot be installed . Instead , a new part of the same model should be replaced . Check the internal resistance of the elec. 2-5/8" water temp gauge . Check the resistance of the heating coil with a multimeter ohmmeter , which should be (36.6 ± 1) Ω . If the measurement results do not meet the requirements , a new meter should be replaced.
