how to fix oil pressure gauge
The abnormal display of pressure gauge is usually caused by the following reasons:
Too little oil - add new oil.
The viscosity of lubricating oil is too low - replace it with new oil.
Lubricating oil deteriorates or is diluted by fuel - replace with new oil.
Inaccurate oil pressure gauge - replace the pressure gauge, or calibrate and repair it.
Oil pressure gauge pipeline blockage - repair, clean and adjust the pipeline.
Suction air of lubricating oil system - check, repair and adjust.
Blockage of oil supply system - clean the oil supply system and repair and adjust it.
Poor lubricating oil pump - repair and adjust.
The lubricating oil filter is blocked - clean or replace it.
The system leaks oil, or the engine is worn too much - overhaul.
Excessive oil supply to the rocker arm - adjust the oil supply hole.
1、 The oil pressure has been very low
Whether the engine is at low speed or high speed, low temperature or high temperature, the oil pressure gauge always indicates below 0.1MPa, accompanied by the flashing of the oil pressure light, which is the low oil pressure: the reason should be checked from the following aspects: first, unscrew the oil dipstick to see whether the oil in the oil pan is sufficient and whether the oil is too thin; Secondly, check whether the oil pressure gauge and the sensing plug are out of order. Remove the sensing plug wire and directly ground it. At this time, if the oil pressure returns to normal (or remove the sensing plug and briefly start the engine) or the oil ejects from the oil passage, the pressure is sufficient and the finger cannot press it, it indicates that the sensing plug is damaged; Replace the test with a good oil pressure gauge. If the oil pressure is normal, the original oil pressure gauge is damaged; Check again whether the process oil plug on the machine body is loose, whether the oil pipe is broken, whether the pressure relief valve is stuck, whether the oil filter is blocked, etc. (remove the oil sensing plug and start the engine briefly. If there are bubbles in the center of the oil ejected from the passage, it indicates that the oil inlet pipe is in air); Finally, check the oil pump for serious wear.
2、 The oil pressure suddenly drops to zero
During the operation of the engine, the indication of the oil pressure gauge suddenly drops to zero from the normal value, accompanied by the flashing of the oil pressure alarm light. At this time, first check whether there is oil in the oil pan. If there is no oil, it means that the oil pipe is broken, cracked or the oil drain plug of the oil pan is loose, resulting in oil leakage. Secondly, check whether the oil pressure gauge and sensing plug are damaged. Then check whether the oil pump transmission shaft and transmission pin are broken to stop the oil pump. Finally, check whether the oil filter is blocked by foreign matters and whether the screw plug of the connecting rod bearing purification oil chamber is loose, and eliminate it in time.
