The power line of the voltmeter can be routed through the interior of the instrument panel and directly connected in parallel to the cigarette lighter of the original vehicle. The voltmeter shows the battery voltage, which will rise to between 14 V and 15 V after the car is started. If the voltage is below 12 volts or above 15 volts, the green light of the intelligent voltmeter turns red and gives an alarm sound of "didi".

Pay attention to the letters next to the terminals of the generator:
1: The thickest terminal should be B +, which is the grounding wire. It's from the ammeter (the coarsest wire is usually red).
2: There are two parallel to the sign, one is f and one -. You can open the key and connect the remaining three wires to the f terminal in turn. Whichever has a blue spark will be connected. (usually blue or yellow)
3: There are only two wires left, and the black wire is connected to - (usually black)
4: The last one is connected to n (usually blue).

Prepare the circuit schematic diagram of the vehicle to be connected. If there is no circuit diagram, it is best to draw a wiring sketch according to the actual object, which will bring great convenience to the wiring maintenance. Due to the need of temporary external wiring for maintenance, attention must be paid to insulation to prevent short circuit. Do not conduct live wiring. When the wire is damaged, replace it with the original regular wire to minimize the contact resistance at the connection.
