mechanical oil pressure test gauge

1 How to measure the car fuel pressure gauge?

First connect the fuel pressure gauge on the main oil supply line, then start the engine and check whether the fuel pressure is within the specified range. The fuel pressure gauge is used to measure the pressure of the fuel supply system and judge the working status of the fuel system components such as the electric gasoline pump and the oil pressure regulator. It is a dedicated tool for fuel system inspection and fault diagnosis. Usage: 33601. Start the engine and let it run to normal operating temperature. After the engine stops, shut off the engine and remove all spark plugs.

2.Fully open the throttle valve and press the joint of the pressure gauge on the spark plug hole.

3.Use the motor to drive the engine to rotate at a speed of 100-150 rpm for 3-5 seconds. At this time, the pointer on the instrument will gradually rise and stop at a certain value, and the indicated value at this time is the compression pressure of the cylinder.

4.Press the button to return the pointer to zero.

5.Repeat the measurement 2~3 times according to the above steps to improve the measurement accuracy.

6. The cylinder pressure of an ordinary car is 0.9MPa, what will happen if the oil pressure of the second car is too low? The low fuel pressure of the car will reduce the fuel supply, affect idling and acceleration, reduce power performance, and even fail to start normally. Low fuel pressure can be caused by a faulty fuel pump, a clogged or leaking fuel line, a clogged fuel filter, a faulty relief valve, or low pressure regulation. If the fuel pressure is too low, check the oil pump or fuel filter. Before that, we need to know how the fuel creates pressure. In the simplest fuel supply system, the fuel pump first draws the fuel in the fuel tank, and then forms a small pressure, which is transmitted to the fuel supply pump regulator on the engine. This oil pump is responsible for precisely controlling the amount of oil used by the engine. When the engine doesn't need as much fuel, the excess flows back into the tank through the return line. In this process, if there is a problem with the oil pump that pumps gasoline at the beginning, and the gasoline is not pumped enough, the fuel pressure of the entire system will be too low. The fuel filter element is located behind the oil pump and is responsible for filtering impurities in the fuel. If the impurities in the gasoline filter are clogged or deposited, the fuel cannot pass through the filter in time, which will affect the fuel pressure.
