motorcycle gas tank fuel level gauge

How to check motorcycle fuel gauge:

1. The fuel gauge F of the motorcycle means that the fuel tank is full, and the E in the direction of the red square means that the fuel is insufficient.
2. Actually, when the pointer of the fuel gauge points to the red grid in the direction of E, there is actually 1/3 to 1/4 of the total capacity of gasoline in the fuel tank, and the remaining gasoline is at least enough to run dozens of kilometers, just refuel in time .
3. The fuel tank switch of the straddle motorcycle shall prevail. After filling up the fuel tank, turn the fuel tank switch to the main fuel tank, and then switch to the auxiliary fuel tank when the main fuel tank is out of fuel. At this time, there are about two liters of gasoline, and at least it can run After dozens of kilometers, just fill up the oil and then switch to the main fuel tank.

The working principle of motorcycle fuel gauge:

Below the pointer of the gasoline gauge is a set of coils, which are equivalent to an electromagnet after being energized. The oil level sensor in the fuel tank is equivalent to a sliding variable resistor. When the oil level in the fuel tank changes, the float of the oil level sensor will float up and down, changing the resistance value of the variable resistor on the oil level sensor, so that through The magnitude of the current on the fuel gauge coil changes, resulting in a change in the magnetic force, so that the pointer of the fuel gauge moves between the full tank of oil and the state of no oil, showing the amount of remaining fuel in the fuel tank.

If the electronic oil gauge of the motorcycle flashes once, and the electronic oil gauge of the motorcycle flashes for a long time, it may be caused by the poor contact of the oil level sensor, which can be repaired or replaced. In addition, check the wiring between the instrument and the oil level sensor for looseness or poor contact. If the failure of the oil pipe under the pedal motorcycle fuel tank is caused by the formation of vacuum in the fuel tank and the blockage of the vent pipe of the fuel tank cap. Go to the after-sales service to clean and check the fuel tank cap and dredge the vent hole. The scooter should not run out of oil when it pulls out the oil pipe under the flameout state. However, due to the oil in the oil pipe itself, when the oil pipe is just pulled out, the remaining gasoline in the oil pipe will still run out. As long as the oil runs out, it will not run out again. If the oil still runs out or drips continuously, it may be that the new fuel tank switch is also not closed tightly. It is better to try another one.
