How to deal with low oil pressure? The fault diagnosis of low oil pressure is mainly divided into the following situations. The following is a small analysis, you can refer to it. Oil pressure is persistently low. Whether the engine is at low or high speed, low or high temperature, the oil pressure gauge always indicates below 0.1MPa, and the oil pressure warning light flashes, indicating that the oil pressure is too low. Diagnosis / inspection treatment
1. Unscrew the oil dipstick to see if there is enough oil in the oil pan and whether the oil is too thin.
2. Check whether the oil pressure gauge and the induction plug are faulty, remove the wire of the induction plug and ground it directly. At this time, if the oil pressure returns to normal (or remove the sensing plug and start the engine briefly) or the oil is sprayed out from the oil circuit, the pressure is sufficient, and the fingers cannot be held, it means that the sensing plug is damaged.
3. Replace the test with a good oil pressure gauge. If the oil pressure is normal, the oil pressure gauge is damaged.
4. Check whether the oil pipe is cracked, whether the pressure limiting valve is stuck, whether the oil filter is blocked, etc. (Remove the oil inlet plug and start the engine briefly. If there are air bubbles in the center of the oil sprayed from the oil passage, it means that there is air in the oil inlet pipe.)
5. Check whether the oil pump is severely worn. The oil pressure suddenly goes to zero. When the engine is working, the indication of the oil pressure gauge suddenly drops from the normal value to zero, accompanied by the flickering of the oil pressure warning light.
Diagnosis/Treatment for inspection :
1. Check whether there is oil in the oil pan. If there is no oil, the oil pipe is broken or cracked or the oil pan drain plug is loose, causing oil leakage. Second, check whether the oil pressure gauge and sensing plug are damaged.
2. Check whether the transmission shaft and transmission pin of the oil pump are broken to stop the oil pump.
3. Check whether the oil filter is blocked by foreign matter, whether the plug of the cleaning oil chamber of the connecting rod bearing is loose, etc. and promptly eliminated. Oil pressure decreases as engine temperature increases. When the engine is cold, the oil pressure is normal. As the engine temperature increases, the oil pressure gradually decreases. The main reason is that when the engine temperature rises, the viscosity of the oil decreases and the leakage loss increases.
Diagnosis/check treatment:
1: Check whether the oil has deteriorated, whether the viscosity is too low, and whether the brand of the oil is correct.
2. Check whether the gap between the crankshaft main bearing, connecting rod bearing and camshaft bearing is too large, resulting in a large degree of oil leakage inside the engine. Oil pressure decreases as engine speed increases. When the engine is running at idle speed, the indication of the oil pressure gauge is normal; after increasing the speed, the indication of the oil pressure gauge rises slightly, then drops or even tends to zero; after deceleration, the indication of the oil pressure gauge tends to be normal again.
