The oil pressure warning light is on, indicating that there is a failure in the vehicle's lubrication system, and different solutions need to be formulated according to the cause of the failure :1. Lack of lubricating oil. If burning oil causes oil shortage, the engine needs to be overhauled; if oil leaks, the location of the oil leakage needs to be dealt with. 2. If the oil pressure sensor is damaged, replace it with new parts. 3. The oil pump works abnormally and can be replaced.
First, the lack of lubricating oil. When the lubricating oil is insufficient, the vehicle is not sufficiently lubricated, and the oil pressure is insufficient, and the warning light is lit to warn. There are two cases. One is the lack of oil caused by burning oil. The engine needs to be overhauled. The crankshaft bearing, connecting rod bearing, piston ring, valve oil seal and other components should be replaced. If you do not want to overhaul the engine, you can reserve oil in the car, and add it by yourself when the vehicle's lubricating oil is insufficient. The second type is the lack of oil caused by oil leakage. It is necessary to find the specific oil leakage location and deal with it.
Second, the oil pressure sensor is damaged. The engine oil pressure sensor is a pressure switch located on the oil filter seat. When the oil pressure is lower than the set value, the switch is closed, and the oil pressure warning light in the instrument is turned on; when the oil pressure is normal after driving normally, the switch is turned off, and the oil pressure warning light in the instrument is turned off. If the oil pressure sensor is damaged or the oil pressure is low, the oil light will come on. During processing, it is necessary to measure whether the oil pressure is within the normal range. If it is not, it is necessary to focus on checking whether the oil pressure sensor, whether the size of the tile is worn, and whether the oil passage is blocked. Finally, according to the specific reasons, a reasonable treatment plan can be formulated.
Third, the oil pump is working abnormally. The task of the oil pump is to deliver the engine oil in the oil circuit. When the delivery volume is high, it must be ensured that the oil pressure is sufficient. But when the oil pump works abnormally, the oil light will be lit as an early warning. For example, the oil pump filter is blocked, the oil pump drive wheel is damaged, etc., which will cause the vehicle's oil supply pressure to be insufficient and the fault light will turn on. When processing, it is also necessary to measure the oil pressure first and make judgments. It is also possible to remove the oil pan to check whether the filter screen is blocked, whether the oil cavity of the oil pump is worn, etc. For the failure of the oil pump pressure relief, replace the new parts to solve it.
