Outboard tachometer with hour meter

Our tachometer with hour meter can be used on gasoline, diesel and outboard. The tachometer displays the engine speed in thousands of revolutions per minute, while the hour meter on the tachometer displays the time the vehicle has been driving in hours. The level of engine speed is related to the number of work done per unit time or the magnitude of engine effective power, that is, the effective power of the engine changes with different speeds. Therefore, when specifying the effective power of the engine, it is necessary to also indicate its corresponding speed.

The outboard tachometer with hour meter indicates the speed of the engine crankshaft, and the unit of the tachometer is rpm. In fact, most drivers do not pay attention to speed information when driving. But many professional drivers always pay attention to speed when driving. Many cars do not have a speedometer, only a tachometer. Some novice drivers pay attention to the tachometer when driving, because most novice drivers need to look at the tachometer to shift gears. All car engines have a relatively economical speed range. When driving a car, if the engine speed can be maintained within a reasonable range, it can improve the fuel economy of the car. During intense driving, it is necessary to delay shifting to allow the engine to reach the high-speed zone, as this is the only way for the engine to output maximum power. But the higher the engine speed, the higher the fuel consumption and the greater the wear. Generally, driving in urban areas rarely increases speed, and there is no need to increase speed when cruising on highways. But when overtaking, you need to increase your speed. It is recommended that you do not let the engine run at high speed for a long time while driving, as this will increase engine wear and tear.

The working principle of a car tachometer is that the tachometer processes the received digital pulse signal (sent out by the sensor) and directly reads it into the counting port of the CPU. The software calculates the speed and the corresponding position of the pointer, and then amplifies it through the control port of the CPU to drive the stepper motor to rotate in the positive and negative directions to indicate the corresponding speed value (the pointer is directly installed on the rotation axis of the stepper motor). The stepper motor only takes 1 /3 degrees to step.
