autometer fuel level gauge wiring diagram

Mainly there are positive and negative lines on the oil gauge. The positive line must have electricity. The resistance on the oil float is also two lines, one in and one out, and then connected in series with the two lines on the oil meter , the negative-level line after the series connection must be grounded.

The fuel gauge is generally located directly in front of the driving position of the vehicle, and is located on the same dial as the water temperature, rotational speed, speed and other indicators, each of which is distinguished by a simple icon. The fuel gauge is represented by a rectangular icon.

The fuel system is mainly composed of four parts: fuel gauge, sensing circuit, variable resistor and buoy. When the fuel in the fuel tank is full, the resistance value of the variable resistor connected to one end of the buoy becomes smaller, the current of the entire circuit reaches the maximum value, and the fuel gauge pointer is at the highest position; when the fuel consumption decreases, the resistance value of the variable resistor corresponds to Increases, the circuit current decreases, and the fuel gauge pointer also decreases. The car fuel gauge is very functional and advanced. It can display the fuel value in the car's fuel tank in real time, and accurately tell the owner how much fuel the car consumes and how much storage is left in the fuel tank. The owner also makes a judgment on whether to refuel or how much mileage can be driven according to the display of the fuel gauge. The fuel gauge is like a warning light for the life of the car. The fuel gauge is an indicator on the engine that can display the amount of fuel, either by needle or digital. Therefore, the current automobile fuel gauge is mainly divided into two types: digital display fuel gauge and pointer fuel display gauge. The fuel gauge needs a power supply (positive, negative and signal), and the sensor is resistive, one is connected to the signal, and the other is connected to the negative. At present, the oil pump and oil float of most cars are assembled together. Its current trend is that the current passes through F4 to the instrument and then to the oil level sensor. If the grounding is normal, the measurement in the oil tank will be displayed in the instrument. The voltage of the oil level sensor is controlled by the instrument. Find the harness of the oil level sensor at the plug of the oil pump and measure the voltage with a multimeter. Generally, the voltage is about 5V. If there is no 5V voltage at the plug of the oil pump, you can judge whether the instrument is faulty according to the circuit diagram.
