can am outlander speedometer not working

The computer serial port is damaged; The serial port of the control card is damaged; Communication line failure; Or it is not damaged, but water and other rust lead to abnormal card; Solution: first check the circuit and use a multimeter to test the connection and disconnection; Remove the control card, clean it with a brush, and then dry it in the sun; Use the computer, preferably the US extended serial port, for communication test; Generally, the problem of card or computer serial port can be determined.

The controller adjustment parameters are as follows:
1.Press the "Speed" key for 1 second to enter the speed limit setting, display "C000", and press "C080" or "C060" to increase or decrease. If you need to set the speed limit to 60 yards, the nixie tube will display "C060", and then press the "OK" key for 2 seconds to exit saving the speed setting.
2.Press the "Time" key for 1 second (more than 2 seconds will automatically exit the setting state) to enter the time setting. The nixie tube displays "1-15" to indicate the year, press the time key again, the nixie tube displays "2-10" to indicate the month, press the time key again, the nixie tube displays "3-10" to indicate the day, and so on. You can also set the time to minutes and seconds. Press the "OK" key for 2 seconds to exit the time setting.
3.Pulse setting (effective speed) starts the vehicle and drives on a flat road. When the speed of the squint reaches 30KM/H, press the pulse (effective speed) key on the remote control, and the speed is effective within this time limit.

When the vehicle is running, the powertrain control module (PCM) sends a pulse signal of 0~12 volts to the combination instrument according to the output signal of the output shaft speed sensor. The combination instrument displays the vehicle speed according to the pulse signal. If the vehicle speed signal does not work, the transaxle will not shift normally. The vehicle speed signal circuit, vehicle speed odometer and PCM may have troubleshooting tips (which may be caused by the following items:) Output shaft speed sensor fault vehicle speed odometer fault harness or connector damage powertrain control module (PCM) fault. If the selector switch of the shift switch assembly is set to sport mode, battery positive voltage will be supplied to the PCM (terminal 109). If the selector switch of the shift switch assembly is set to "UP" or "DOWN" position, it will supply battery positive voltage to the PCM (terminal 122110).
