How to fix the fuel level sensor ? Before removing the fuel level sensor, drain the fuel in the fuel tank with a manual pump or siphon method. Remove the negative battery cable. When the fuel tank is removed, loosen the fuel filter at the outlet of the fuel supply hose of the fuel tank, clean the oil filter and check it for damage. Replace it if necessary. If the oil tank is rusted or has leakage, it should be repaired or replaced.
