Fuel pump is one of the basic components of EFI vehicle fuel injection system. It is located inside the vehicle fuel tank. The fuel pump works during startup and engine operation. Its function is to suck the fuel out of the fuel tank, pressurize it and deliver it to the fuel supply pipe, cooperate with the fuel pressure regulator to establish a certain fuel pressure and provide signals for the fuel gauge. After being filtered by the filter screen, the fuel in the single pump fuel tank is sucked into the pump core and divided into two ways. One way is supplied to the automobile engine through the oil outlet of the pump core, and the other way is to pump the excess fuel back into the fuel tank. The main and auxiliary pumps are applicable to the saddle shaped oil tank. After passing through the filter screen, the fuel is sucked into the pump core and divided into two ways. One way is supplied to the automobile engine through the oil outlet of the pump core, and the other way is driven by the ejector pump of the auxiliary pump through the oil outlet beside the pump core. The ejector pump pumps the fuel from the auxiliary oil tank to the main oil tank.
Fuel pressure analysis
The fuel pressure reading of the oil pressure gauge is zero, the oil pressure is normal, the oil pressure is too high and the oil pressure is too low. If the oil pressure is zero.First check the oil storage capacity of the oil tank, whether the oil passage leaks seriously, and whether the fuel filter is completely blocked.
