marine fuel level gauge

When the oil volume of the marine's fuel level gauge is only about 15%, the alarm light will be on. For a ship with a 200-litre tank volume, it is about 30 litres of oil. You can calculate how far the ship can travel. There is an economic speed for ships with different displacement. When driving at this speed, the fuel consumption can be reduced as much as possible. Therefore, it is better to drive at this speed, and it is not necessary to drive directly above the high speed or at a slow speed.

Matters needing attention:

1.Make sure to refuel the marine in time. The best way to refuel is to refuel in the morning or at night when the temperature is relatively low to reduce the volatilization of gasoline.

2.You must select different gasoline numbers according to the marine engine of the model. Adding the correct model according to the standard is very important for the service life of the ship.

3.Gasoline is charged by volume rather than by weight, which will expand and contract. When refueling in the morning or at night, the temperature is relatively low, and the same volume of gasoline can have more quality and save a lot.

4.After refueling, the oil tank cover shall be locked to reduce the evaporation loss of oil and keep the oil clean.

For example, the pointer of the marine's oil fuel level gauge points to 240 liters. It depends on how many liters the fuel tank is. If it is a 240-litre fuel tank, it will alarm before pointing to 240. After the alarm, there is about one tenth of the oil, about 20 litres. The oil tank alarm indicates that the oil in the oil tank has reached the limit position, and the engine that mainly relies on oil to dissipate heat cannot dissipate heat in time. So at this time, if you can insist on walking a little farther to reach the nearby gas station, it's best. If you can't, don't drive reluctantly and ask for help. All oil tanks of each refueling marine have a detailed tank capacity table. The table reference is liquid level (or neutral) plus trim correction. The upper limit is determined according to the tank capacity, and the lower limit is calculated according to the sailing distance/time. There is a safe margin at both ends. We can provide needle and digital marine fuel level gauges.
