yanmar d27 diesel fuel oil level gauge

Yamaha motorcycle Yanmar d27 diesel fuel oil level gauge scale view:

(1) There are two horizontal bars on the oil dipstick, and the lower one is the lower limit. If it is lower than this line, oil must be added, otherwise the cylinder will easily pull; The upper limit is the upper limit, which cannot be higher than this line, otherwise the engine oil will burn and the engine condition will deteriorate seriously.

(2) Flat to round is too high, go to the 4S store and take out a bit. Measurement timing: After landing for 1 minute, turn off the engine, and take measurements 10 minutes later.

Precautions for refueling:

(1) Try not to wait for the oil lamp to light up before refueling. Because the oil pump is located in the fuel tank, the temperature of the oil pump is high during continuous operation, and immersion in fuel can effectively reduce temperature. "When the oil lamp is on, it indicates that the oil level is already below the oil pump. If you wait for the lamp to light up every time and then refuel, it will shorten the service life of the oil pump. If there is too little oil stored or the fuel runs out, it may also burn down the oil pump.". If you drive more than 30000 kilometers, you need to be more careful. If the oil pump pulls up the sediment at the bottom of the fuel tank when there is too little fuel, you may be lucky if you just block the oil pump or block the oil circuit.

(2) Try to refuel in the morning or evening. "Because the temperature is lower during this time period than during the day, and the density of the oil is higher, choosing to refuel in the morning or evening can theoretically be a bit cheaper.".

(3) Try to avoid refueling when the gas station has just finished unloading fuel. "Due to the fact that there is always some water and impurities deposited at the bottom of the oil tank, these water and impurities will be lifted up and mixed with the fuel during unloading. If this fuel containing water and impurities is inadvertently added, it will block the fuel path and cause damage to the engine of the motor vehicle.".
