What is the normal water temperature of marine engine? The water temperature of any diesel engine is basically within 95 ° C, 80 ° C to 90 ° C is appropriate, and the temperature above 95 ° C is high. The low temperature water shall be controlled between 38-45 ℃ and the high temperature water shall be controlled between 90-97 ℃. The water temperature is too high (early combustion, spontaneous combustion, thermal tightening), which means that the engine can hear the cylinder knock when accelerating. The ignition time is too early (deflagration). The injection time is 14-18 degrees before TDC (diesel engine). Excessive wear of engine crank and connecting rod mechanism will cause cylinder knock. Engine knock sensor and knock control system failure. If your water temperature is low, check the thermostat. When the engine temperature is low, rich mixture is required to maintain stable operation.
