Fault diagnosis and maintenance

1.Insufficient oil volume If the oil volume is insufficient, the oil volume of the oil pump will be reduced or the oil will not be pumped due to the entry of air, which will reduce the oil pressure, the crankshaft and bearings, cylinder liner and piston. Both will increase wear due to poor lubrication. Therefore, the oil level in the oil pan should be checked before working every day to ensure that the oil level is normal. If it is insufficient, the same type of oil produced by the same manufacturer should be added.

2.If the oil pump does not rotate, if the flat key between the driving gear of the oil pump and the driving shaft is damaged or falls off; if the filter is damaged, the oil pump will inhale foreign matter, and the gear will be stuck, which will make the oil pump stop and the oil pressure will drop to zero. At this time, the damaged flat key or filter should be replaced.

3. Oil pump wear When the gap between the oil pump shaft and the bushing, the gap between the gear end face and the pump cover, the tooth side gap or the radial gap is too large due to wear, the pump oil volume will decrease and the oil pressure will be reduced. decline. At this time, the worn parts should be replaced, and the inner plane of the pump cover should be ground to restore the gap between it and the end face of the gear to the standard range.
