Why is the engine oil pressure warning light on?
There are two types of alerts: (1). True alarm means insufficient oil pressure or insufficient oil pressure; (2). False alarm, assuming there is no shortage of oil or oil pressure, is generally caused by the oil sensor plug itself.
1. The oil volume of the oil pump is insufficient, resulting in a decrease in the oil volume of the oil pump or the inability to oil the pump due to air, resulting in a drop in oil pressure;
2. If the engine temperature is too high, it is easy to dilute the oil, and the oil pressure will drop due to the loss of the large star shape in the fitting gap;
3. When the parts of the oil pump are damaged due to wear, assembly and other problems or the gap is too large, the oil pump will not supply oil or the oil supply will be insufficient;
4. The clearance between the crankshaft and the large and small tiles is improper, too tight will increase the oil pressure, too loose will reduce the oil pressure;
5. Blocking the oil filter and oil suction pan will also reduce the oil pressure;
6. Damage or failure of the oil return valve: If the spring of the oil return valve in the main oil circuit is fatigued and softened or adjusted improperly, the mating surface of the valve seat and the steel ball is worn or blocked by dirt, the oil return star will increase significantly, and the main oil The oil pressure in the road will also decrease;
7. Improper selection of oil: If the oil is not used properly or the brand is not selected properly, due to the low viscosity of the oil when the engine is running, it will increase the leakage, thereby reducing the oil pressure;
8. The oil pipeline is blocked by oil leakage.

The oil pressure indicator is a dripping kettle-like sign that shows the pressure of the oil. When the key door is opened and the vehicle starts self-checking, the indicator light will be on, and it will go out after starting. If the indicator light stays on, it means that the engine oil pressure of the car is lower than the specified standard, and the oil lubrication system needs to be checked oil, that is, engine oil, can lubricate and reduce wear, assist cooling, seal against leakage, prevent rust and corrosion, shock and buffer, etc. Known as the "blood" of the car. When the engine is working, the oil pressure is generally maintained within the pressure range of 150-350 kPa. When the oil pressure is too low or too high, the oil indicator light on the car dashboard will come on. If we see the oil pressure light on after starting, do not continue driving. Stop as soon as possible to check the oil dipstick to see if the oil level is normal, and refuel if necessary. If there is no problem after inspection, go to a nearby repair shop.
