battery voltage gauge car

What are the advantages of installing a voltmeter on the car? Voltmeter: This is to remind you to charge quickly when there is a lack of electricity. This is usually the original or modified instrument of a sports performance vehicle. For a sports performance vehicle, if the owner wants to give full play to its performance, he must understand the characteristics of the vehicle. Too high water temperature and oil temperature have a bad impact on the operation of the engine. As for the voltmeter, you can check whether there is a lack of power at any time. However, as far as I know, if the power of ordinary cars is modified and the power is improved a lot, the original tachometer does not have enough travel. It is not convenient to read the real information. At the same time, it is difficult for drivers to estimate which revolution range the best power output is in.

At present, new trucks are generally not equipped with ammeters, but with voltmeters. Diesel cars are generally 24V (gasoline cars are generally 12V). When the power is turned on, the pointer points to 24V, which is the voltage of the battery. When the car starts idling, the pointer should be greater than 24V. At this time, it indicates the output voltage of the generator (generally about 26V ~ 28V). Observe this meter to know the working conditions of the battery and generator of the car. Now the car has a lamp with the same function as the ammeter, a battery like red light. When the key is turned on and the car is not started, the lamp is on, indicating that the battery is powered. Once the car is started, the lamp is off, indicating that the generator is powered.

Check the car battery voltage gauge: when the battery power indicator displays green, it indicates that the battery is full and the battery is intact. When the battery power indicator displays black, it indicates that the battery is low and needs to be charged. When the battery power indicator displays colorless or light yellow, it indicates that the battery is basically used up. Measure the static voltage of the battery: the nominal voltage of the car battery is 12V, and the actual voltage is higher than this. When the engine is not started, the voltage between the positive and negative poles measured with a multimeter should be between 12.5 ~ 12.8v. If the measured voltage is lower than 11.5V, it means that the battery is out of power. If the measured voltage is lower than 10.9v, it means that the battery is basically completely exhausted.
