The main causes of the high oil pressure are:
(1) The oil pressure gauge is out of order or the oil circuit to the pressure gauge is blocked. Loosen the nuts or bolts connecting the oil pipe and the oil pressure gauge (the other end is connected to the main oil duct), and observe that the oil pressure is high, which indicates that the pressure gauge is faulty or the oil pipe to the oil pressure gauge is blocked.
(2) The oil capacity is insufficient, the oil is deteriorated or there is water in the oil. Regularly check the oil dipstick scale of the oil sump, and add enough oil as required; Check the fit between the piston ring and the cylinder liner, and repair it if it is worn seriously.
(3) The oil grade is incorrect, the viscosity is low, and the oil is too thin. Replace with new oil that meets the specification.
(4) The diesel engine is overloaded for a long time, which makes the engine oil temperature too high and become lean. Reduce the load of diesel engine, and do not allow long-term overload operation.
(5) The oil filter collector is blocked, so that the oil suction is reduced and the pressure is too low. Clean the oil strainer.
(6) The oil is too dirty and deteriorates after being used for a long time, which blocks the filter screen or oil passage of the oil suction pan. Replace the engine oil and clean the filter screen and oil passage.
(7) After the oil pump is worn, if the internal leakage of the oil pump increases, the amount of oil pumped decreases, or the paper pad of the oil pump is damaged and oil leaks. It can be compensated by reducing the thickness of the oil pump end cover gasket. If the pump oil is still insufficient, repair or replace the worn parts and damaged gaskets.
(8) Check whether the spring of the pressure limiting valve is too soft and whether the valve is excessively worn. If the valve is worn normally, check whether the spring force is insufficient.
(9) The oil circuit from the oil suction plate to the oil pump is not tightly assembled and leaks air, such as the hollow bolt of the oil suction pipe is not tightened tightly. Reinstall to eliminate air leakage.
(10) The main bearing, connecting rod bearing, camshaft, shaft sleeve and other lubricating parts are worn, the clearance is increased, and the lubricating oil leaks too much. Repair and replace new parts, restore the matching relationship of spare parts, and keep the clearance within the normal range.
However, as the engine temperature increases, the oil viscosity will decrease and stabilize within the specified range.
