oil pressure gauge jumping up and down

Reasons why the pointer of the oil pressure gauge swings a lot:

1. The oil pressure of the engine is unstable. First check whether there is any problem with the oil pressure sensor, line contact, etc., then check whether the oil pump is damaged, and finally check whether the oil circuit is blocked;

2. The viscosity of the engine oil is too low; the filter screen of the oil filter or the filter element of the oil filter is blocked;

3. The elastic force of the pressure limiting valve and the oil return valve spring is weakened or broken, or the joint surface of the valve is not tightly sealed, resulting in oil leakage and pressure relief;

4. The main bearing or connecting rod bearing clearance is too large;

5. The oil pump is not working well. It should be that the oil pressure of the engine is unstable. Check the sensor and wiring problems, and then check the oil pump and whether the oil circuit is blocked. It may be caused by unstable oil pressure. Go to the 4S shop to check whether it is a circuit problem, a sensor, or an oil pump.

When the engine oil pressure is high and the throttle jumps up and down, this situation is generally a problem with the engine oil pressure sensor. The oil pressure sensor needs to be replaced. Then check to see if it solves the problem. If it still doesn't work, then you need to check if the oil pump is broken. The oil pump has too much pressure relief.The axis of the movement is not perpendicular to the surface of the dial. This phenomenon is caused by the uneven bottom of the connector or the uneven bottom of the housing. The solution is: in which direction the pointer rubs against the dial, place a metal gasket of appropriate thickness under the bottom plate of the movement in that direction until the central axis of the movement is perpendicular to the surface of the dial.

Bend the pointer. In this case, you can use your finger to straighten the pointer.What is the reason why the pointer does not move or rarely moves after pressurization? The reasons why the pointer does not move or rarely moves after pressurization may be as follows:The calibrator connection valve is not open or the oil cup valve is not closed.Oil leakage from the calibrator joint or damage to the rubber pad on the top of the screw leads to oil leakage.The center hole of the ferrule in the calibrator fitting is blocked and media cannot enter the gauge.The media in the calibrator oil cup is too dirty and the pipe is blocked.The spring tube is leaking through cracks or holes.Leaks at the welds of spring tubes, fittings and seals.
